Social Ops is an internally-operated tool for scheduling and publishing original short-form videos and images to its operator's own TikTok and Instagram accounts — through each platform's official API.
A single-operator content pipeline. Its owner produces original videos, images, and captions, queues them in one place, and lets the tool deliver them to the owner's own connected accounts at the right time — no copy-pasting between apps, no missed posting windows.
It is operated privately for first-party content only. There is no public sign-up and it manages no third party's accounts or data — every connection is made by the operator through official OAuth and can be revoked at any time from the platform's own settings.
A focused set of capabilities for running a consistent first-party posting cadence.
Queue videos and images with captions and post them automatically at chosen times across the operator's connected accounts.
Manage the operator's own TikTok and Instagram accounts from one calendar instead of switching between phones and apps.
Publishing happens through TikTok's Content Posting API and Instagram's official Content Publishing API — no automation that violates platform terms.
For TikTok, content can be delivered to the account's drafts so the operator adds finishing touches and posts from the native app.
Write, store, and stage captions alongside each piece of media so every post ships complete and on-brand.
OAuth access tokens are held on operator-controlled infrastructure and are invalidated the moment authorization is revoked.
From a finished piece of content to a published post, in four steps.
The operator authorizes one of their own TikTok or Instagram accounts via the platform's official OAuth flow, granting only the scopes needed to publish.
The operator uploads an original video or image and writes the caption for the post.
The post is placed on a calendar at the chosen date and time, alongside the operator's other planned content.
At the scheduled time the tool calls the platform's official publishing API to post — or, for TikTok, to deliver a draft the operator finalizes in-app.
Social Ops requests the following permissions, only on the operator's own connected accounts:
user.info.basicRead the connected account's basic profile (name, avatar) to confirm the right account is linked.user.info.profileRead the connected account's profile details so the operator can verify the account being posted to.user.info.statsRead the connected account's own public counts (followers, likes) to display alongside it in the scheduler.video.listRead the connected account's own list of posts to confirm what has published and avoid duplicates.video.uploadUpload the operator's original video to the connected account's drafts.video.publishPublish the operator's scheduled post to the connected account.Questions about Social Ops?
